Young At Heart

Purpose: Provide Christian fellowship, support and ministry opportunities for retired Senior Adults attending Discover Christian Church.

Plan: YAH Ministry does a variety of ministries that are in line with ability and enjoyable to accomplish. Participate in monthly activities that enhance fellowship; growth in small group bible study Thursdays at 2PM @ DCC; and provide support group for each other in YAH.

Compassion Ministry

Purpose: To Reach out to those with a need that cannot be met without God’s help through care-givers. To encourage care-receivers and support care-givers alike. This is done primarily through a simple and effective visit with those in need of care. And to offer encouragement to Caregivers by coming alongside them in their caregiving. This ministry is volunteer driven. If you have a heart the Widow or Widower or those in hospitals there will be an opportunity for you to serve around your schedule.
