New To DCC?

We all were new, at one time, and we remember what it’s like. So we’ve provided the information below, knowing that it’s easier to venture into a new place when you know what to expect.

Sunday Mornings

We have many volunteers who help visitors find their way to the worship services and to adult and children classes. You are likely to run into them in the parking lot or at the front door, eager to help you find what you need!

Our congregation spans a range of ages, ethnicities and backgrounds. The atmosphere is comfortable and casual and you’ll see our members dressed in all styles—from jeans to business suits. Our worship style is “blended”—meaning that services include both traditional and contemporary music.

Each service lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes. Near the beginning, the pastor will encourage you to greet the people sitting around you, but no one will single you out as a visitor. Also, we do not pass an offering plate and we don’t expect our visitors to participate in giving.

Kids are welcome to attend worship services, but are encouraged to attend one of the children’s programs. We also offer a variety of Sunday-morning programs for children, and teens. We do have a cry room located in the back of the worship center for those parents who opt not to utilize our nursery.

Help on Sundays

Parking is conveniently located and we have a drop-off area for those that would like to be delivered curb-side in front of our worship center.

If you have questions about worship or Sunday classes, ask the volunteers at the Welcome Center in the main lobby, or ask one of the greeters at the door.
